PCB productions involve many complex chemical and mechanical processes. As the density of electronics components on printed circuit boards become higher and higher, the pitch and pads of the components become smaller and smaller, the faults of boards in PCB productions increase, including open circuit, short circuit, and impedance faults. The thresholds of faults are based on the IPC standard or military standard for electrical testing of unpopulated printed circuit boards, depending on customers' requirements. If the boards fail in our electrical test , we will use multimeters to verify the faults and arrow-labels to mark the locations of the faults so that our customer could repair the failed boards, or carry out trouble shooting to fix the root cause. Our test services not only ensure the quality of the PCB products, but also help our customers detect and fix the problems in sample board test or inner layer test, in the early stages of production processes, so as to avoid waste and increase yield of the PCB productions.
The following photos show the examples of our work in marking the faults.
